  • Realistic

Our scenarios, developed by fire service experts and career firefighters, raise the level of training and the learning effect in technical rescue training.

  • Practical

Training with virtual reality allows unlimited repetitions of procedures and techniques. Because participants actively perform the steps, the learning effect is especially strong!

  • Lasting

Thanks to the realistic simulation, fire departments need to organize fewer accident vehicles – and accordingly do not have to take care of their disposal!

Technical rescue training concept

Technical rescue in virtual reality

Our TH-VU VR training software focuses consistently on technical rescue at vehicle accidents: from safely securing the vehicle and correct stabilization to gently extricating the patient. In realistic scenarios, participants are guided step by step through the technically correct sequence of work steps – structured, traceable, and close to real operations.

The training focuses on the decisive points on the vehicle: creating access, battery/high-voltage management, airbag/belt tensioner zones, emergency shutdown, glass management, A- to C-pillars, hinges, strike plates, and rescue openings. Trainees practice exactly where to work – and where not to. This consolidates techniques such as cribbing, supporting, spreading, cutting, and severing exactly where it is tactically sensible and safe.

Virtual but real training

Practice safely, without risk

In VR you can make mistakes without fearing real consequences – and that is intentional. Every action is analyzed immediately, feedback is provided in real time, and corrections help you internalize procedures quickly. This way you build confidence and routine before you need them in a real operation.

Virtual reality TH-VU with a methodical exercise series

For beginners and professionals

Hands-on instead of lectures: grip tools virtually, make cuts, control loads, protect patients – immersive practice anchors procedures in muscle memory and strengthens team communication under time pressure. At the same time, the organizational effort drops: no material wear, no complex physical setups, flexible repetitions, and automatic progress checks. The result: maximum practical relevance, high safety, measurable learning progress – “safety made simple”.

VR technical rescue at vehicle accidents

Why train technical rescue in VR?

Technical rescue training with VR combines real practical relevance with maximum efficiency: instead of rarely available accident vehicles and time-consuming physical setups, crews train realistic scenarios anytime, anywhere – structured, safe, and repeatable.

VR enforces the correct sequence of work steps, focuses on the most important points on the vehicle, and guides users step by step through securing, stabilization, and patient-friendly extrication. This noticeably increases learning transfer, anchors techniques in muscle memory, and reduces errors.

At the same time, complexity drops: less organization, no material wear, clear evaluation, and measurable progress. The result: more effective training, greater safety on scene – and “safety made simple”.
