Mission areas

One base system, four tasks

With interchangeable nozzles, SnakE® covers several incident types with one base unit. Scroll through the four mission areas and find your system.

EVs & underground garages

SnakE® lies flat under the vehicle and cools the underbody, where the high-voltage battery sits. Tesla's rescue data sheets also recommend underbody cooling.

  • Fitted onto the sectional ladder per DIN EN 1147 or onto the aluminum frame
  • Briefing in 60 to 90 minutes, within one drill night
  • Stowed in the Euro box 60 × 40 × 12 cm

The spray bar upgrades your pump-and-roll-capable vehicle and lays wet lines alongside the fire. You do not have to wait for the next vehicle procurement.

  • Operational in under 3 minutes
  • 72 l/min at 3 bar, 92 l/min at 5 bar
  • Applies retardant over a wide area at a 0.5 to 3% mixing rate

Structure protection, holding line

Mounted on a tree or on the stand, rotary sprinklers turn on their own and reach up to 14 m. Your crews stay free for the next task.

  • Sector from 20° to 360°, set without tools
  • Approx. 4 to 24 l/min per sprinkler at 1 to 4 bar
  • Around 800 g per sprinkler including mount

At the core

One module, three tasks

Every SnakE® nozzle module passes water on, discharges it through the nozzle and clamps onto the carrier. Line up several modules and you get a string of any length.

  1. Nozzle swap Full cone nozzle with 120° and approx. 20 l/min, or rotary sprinkler nozzle with 9 to 14 m throw. You swap them to suit the incident.
  2. Shutoff valve Integrated into the rotary sprinkler nozzle and operated directly on the module.
  3. T-piece, 2 × Storz D Passes the water on to the next module and branches off the partial flow to the nozzle via the 1/2-inch mount.
  4. Multi-purpose stand Made of anodized aluminum. Sets the rotary sprinkler up freestanding on open ground, firebreaks and paths, and with the strap it becomes a tree mount.
  5. V4A carrier plate Glass-bead-blasted, with approx. 40 mm clamping width for the sectional ladder rail. Tool-free mounting.
  • V4A stainless steel
  • approx. 10 × 10 × 10 cm
  • approx. 500 g per module
  • max. 16 bar

Field-proven

Developed with responders, honored by the expert jury

After the Löschigel®, SnakE® is Rescuevation's second innovation. Every design decision follows operational logic: safety made simple.

  • vfdb Excellence Award 2025 Honored by a fire department expert jury.
  • Underbody cooling Tesla's rescue data sheets also recommend this method.
  • Made in Germany Developed with fire department officers, tested in several series of field trials.

FAQs

What fire departments ask before buying

Is your question missing here? We reply within 24 hours.

Which SnakE® fits my fire department?

For passenger EVs, SnakE® 4 is enough. With vans, SUVs and commercial vehicles, SnakE® 6 Professional adds two extra modules and a folding aluminum frame. If you work with fire containment blankets, take SnakE® Solid.

For vegetation fires there are the spray bar set and the wildfire set, for structure protection the rotary sprinkler set, and for gas cylinders and IBCs the cooling set.

Can I extend my SnakE® later?

Yes. All modules use the same Storz D interface and can be connected in series. If you already have a SnakE® set, the spray bar without nozzles is all you need for vegetation fires. You can combine SnakE® Solid and SnakE® 4 at the same incident.

What water supply do I need?

A C (52 mm) supply line to a wye. From there two Storz D lines run to the modules. Each full cone nozzle discharges approx. 20 l/min, and the maximum operating pressure is 16 bar. The actual water volume depends on the pump, pressure, hose lengths and number of modules.

Does the spray bar make my vehicle pump-and-roll capable?

No. The spray bar requires pump-and-roll capability and upgrades such a vehicle. It is designed for use alongside the fire.

How long does the briefing take?

60 to 90 minutes. That fits into one drill night and works on site or online. We supply briefing videos and demo material with it.

Can I purchase on account, and how fast is delivery?

Purchase on account is available for authorities, municipalities, fire departments and plant fire departments, XRechnung included. The delivery time is 5 to 10 working days by freight carrier. For budget planning, we prepare a written quote with a validity date for you in advance.
