Scene lighting

Only the light turns night into a work site.

Whether missing person search, road accident, or flood incident: the lighting decides how safely your crews keep working. From the battery-powered case for the search team to the 100,000-lumen floodlight over the entire affected area: systems from Mactronic and Rescuevation.

First minutes

Bright before the generator even starts

Three battery systems, portable and ready to light up at once. Their red standby mode keeps them findable in the dark for up to 450 hours.

Our advice The Monster Light Mini is the entry point: 18,000 lumens from 15.3 kilos, stowed in a case. If you regularly search large areas, take the Twin with two light heads and a 50 Ah battery.

Hours on end

When the scene becomes a night shift

Mains or hybrid operation instead of a battery limit: these systems run as long as the incident lasts and dim continuously to match demand.

Our advice The Tower Beam switches between mains power and battery during operation. At 6.3 kilos, it is quickly repositioned. The HALO 100K lights up an entire affected area with 24 panels, switched segment by segment across 180° or 360°.

Major incident

Light from above, not glare from ahead

Ground-level floodlights cast long shadows and blind oncoming crews. Masts and a flight system raise the light above the area. Beneath them, it stays evenly bright.

Our advice The Baselight MX-Series controls mast and light via motor and onboard computer. The roll container conveniently brings two masts plus battery packs to the incident scene.

Line light

25 meters of light from one reel

Where floodlights fall short: tent aisles, basements, long corridors. That is where the LumiLine LED rope light brings the right light.

Good to know A screw connector at the cable end extends the run by another 25 meters; two reels light 50 meters in one stretch.

FAQ

What to clarify before procurement

How many lumens does a scene need?

For a search team and a single work site, portable systems with 18,000 lumens are enough. As soon as several teams work in parallel or vehicles maneuver, the step up to 36,000 to 100,000 lumens pays off: dimmable, so the light follows the incident. As a guide: the SKYLUX 200 uses 20,000 lumens from twelve meters up to light around 315 m² evenly.

Battery, mains or hybrid: what fits our fire department?

Battery systems are up in minutes and need neither generator nor cable. In return, their boost mode ends after just under two hours. Mains systems like the HALO 100K run without limit but depend on 230 volts. The Tower Beam combines both and switches between battery and mains during operation. Rule of thumb: initial attack on battery, sustained incident on mains.

What do IP65, IP66 and IK08 mean?

The first digit of the IP rating stands for dust protection (6 = dust-tight), the second for water protection: 5 withstands water jets from any direction, 6 even powerful jets. IK08 rates the impact resistance of the housing. All systems in this collection are built for rain, mud, and sustained outdoor use.

How does procurement from Rescuevation work for fire departments and municipalities?

On account, as XRechnung on request. For budget planning, we issue a formally usable quote in advance. Tell us your vehicles and typical incidents, and we will put the lighting kit together.

Can the equipment be expanded later?

Yes. The LumiLine extends by another 25 meters via screw connector, the HALO 100K switches its 24 panels on segment by segment, and the Baselight Roll Container holds two complete light masts plus battery packs.

Background

Area lighting: fire departments, THW, civil protection

Major incidents rarely end at sunset. If you want to run an incident scene safely for hours, you need area lighting that sets up fast and keeps running reliably.

In this collection you will find portable area floodlights and light mast systems from Mactronic and Rescuevation with up to 100,000 lm: from the compact tripod floodlight with hybrid power supply to the roll container with Baselight modules for fast stowage on the vehicle.

We are happy to advise you personally on planning the scene lighting for your fire department.
