Burning electric vehicles are not a classic fire scenario. The high-voltage battery sits under the vehicle, the fire keeps burning out of the battery housing over long periods, and the water path to the cells is blocked mechanically. Tesla and other manufacturers recommend exactly one approach in their emergency response guides: targeted cooling of the underbody with large volumes of water — until the battery temperature drops.

In this collection you will find the equipment that makes exactly that feasible: the SnakE system as a modular, flat extinguishing and cooling system made of V4A stainless steel with a Storz D connection, expandable without tools and stowed in a Eurobox (60 × 40 × 12 cm) — it fits under standard electric vehicles and supports cooling in the underbody area. The SnakE Solid variant with rigid V4A pipe segments is additionally designed for use under fire containment blankets, where flexible hose connections reach their temperature limit. Plus fire containment blankets for the controlled containment of vehicle fires in underground garages, at charging stations, or in public spaces.

Both product lines aim at the same effect: crews work from a safe distance, and the water acts on the battery housing instead of only on the outer body panels.
