See the kitsFor passenger cars, SnakE® 4 is enough. Only with vans, SUVs and commercial vehicles do the two extra modules of the SnakE® 6 pay off.
Both systems fit in the same Euro box, use the same Storz D connection and can be extended modularly. The difference is the length covered.

What incident commanders ask before procurement
Is SnakE® 4 enough or do we need SnakE® 6?
Four modules cover the underbody of a typical electric passenger car. With vans, SUVs and commercial vehicles, SnakE® 6 Professional adds two extra modules and a folding aluminum frame. Both systems can be extended modularly and use the same Euro box. So the decision does not lock you in for good.
Is a fire containment blanket alone enough?
A blanket holds the fire in, reduces smoke spread and protects the surroundings. The energy, though, stays in the pack, and cooling only happens through a system underneath. Under the blanket, flexible hoses reach their temperature limit, which is why SnakE® Solid works with rigid V4A pipes.
How does the set discount work?
If you order several components together, we deduct 5% from the sum of the individual prices. The kits are not available as separate products in the shop, so you order them via a quote: choose a kit, click “Request a quote”, and you get the written quote within 24 hours.
What training does the fire department need to use it?
A briefing of 60 to 90 minutes is all it takes, which fits into one drill night. We brief on site or online and supply briefing videos and demo material with it.
How do authorities and municipalities order?
Purchase on account is available for public authorities, municipalities, fire departments and plant fire departments, XRechnung included. The delivery time is 5 to 10 working days by freight carrier. For budget planning, we prepare a written quote in advance with a validity date, 30 days as a rule.
What is the warranty on SnakE®?
A 3-year warranty, direct from the manufacturer. SnakE® is developed and made in Andernach, and questions and spare parts are handled directly by us.
Can I use SnakE® for other operations too?
Yes. All modules share the Storz D interface. If you already have a SnakE® set, the spray bar without nozzles is all you need for vegetation fires. For gas cylinders, IBCs and objects, there is the SnakE® Cooling Set.

Burning electric vehicles are not a classic fire scenario. The high-voltage battery sits under the vehicle, the fire keeps burning out of the battery housing over long periods, and the water path to the cells is blocked mechanically. Tesla and other manufacturers recommend exactly one approach in their emergency response guides: targeted cooling of the underbody with large volumes of water, until the battery temperature drops.
In this collection you will find the equipment that makes exactly that feasible: the SnakE® system as a modular, flat extinguishing and cooling system made of V4A stainless steel with a Storz D (25 mm) connection, expandable without tools and stowed in a Euro box (60 × 40 × 12 cm). It fits under standard electric vehicles and supports cooling in the underbody area. The SnakE® Solid variant with rigid V4A pipe segments is additionally designed for use under fire containment blankets, where flexible hose connections reach their temperature limit. Plus fire containment blankets for the controlled containment of vehicle fires in underground garages, at charging stations, or in public spaces.
