Our rotary sprinklers are deliberately designed for Storz D – the smallest standardized fire service coupling (25 mm). This is not a design choice but a consequence of the operational profile: vegetation fires usually occur in steep, trackless terrain, with long distances from the vehicle to the incident scene – often under time pressure and with limited personnel.

A D-hose weighs only a fraction of a C- or B-hose. A single person can easily carry several lengths plus the rotary sprinkler in a backpack or over the shoulder – even uphill, through undergrowth, or across rough terrain. Exactly where heavy C-lines fail, the D-system keeps you moving.

By flipping the wire bracket, the coverage can be switched from full circle (360°) to part circle (20°–270°).

In part-circle mode, the size of the desired sector can be set by adjusting the two wire clamps on the pipe section so that the desired segment is sprinkled. As soon as the required water pressure of 2–4 bar is applied, the sprinkler starts rotating and automatically reverses direction when it reaches the set end points.

The deflector plate, which is easy to move by hand, regulates the height of the water jet. The attached jet breaker screw provides stepless adjustment of the jet width and can also be easily set by hand.
