The Lenoir water barriers are designed so that complete heavy rain protection fits in a single box. The barriers are rolled flat and stored protected and dry – with no bulky components and no loose small parts. This reduces storage space, simplifies inventory management, and speeds up logistics: put the box on the vehicle, take it to the scene, roll it out – done. Ideal for fire departments, municipal services, and companies with little storage space.

After contact with floodwater, mud, oil, sewage, or chemicals, the sand and casing can no longer be cleanly separated or reused and must be properly disposed of in accordance with EU regulations.

Sandbags involve high overall effort: they are slow to set up and remove and require many personnel, logistics, and material – one linear meter of sandbags costs around €690 including disposal, with about 70% of that for disposal.
BEAVER tube dams are reusable and require no heavy equipment, less personnel, and almost no disposal – so their life cycle costs are considerably lower than those of sandbags.
