- 5 km tested visibility
- 360° all-round lighting
- 150 h runtime in Low mode
- IP68 waterproof & dustproof
Ruggedness, decoded
What IP68 means on the job
IP ratings are on every data sheet. Here is what they are worth at the incident scene.
-
6
Dustproof
The first digit of IP68: completely sealed against dust and particles. For fire scenes, vegetation fires and technical rescue.
-
8
Waterproof
The second digit: withstands continuous immersion. For heavy rain, firefighting water and flood operations.
-
Shock
Shockproof
Built for the rough conditions of fire department and EMS operations. Drops and knocks are accounted for.
-
85 g
Lightweight
Barely noticeable on the shoulder: you wear it through a full shift without it getting in the way.
-
150 h
Endurance
Up to 150 hours in Low mode, and fully recharged via USB-C in 2 hours.
-
4×
Screw mounting points
Besides the neodymium magnet, four integrated screw points secure the light permanently to mounts.
The difference
Improvised marking, or visible all around
This is how many units mark their crews today, and here is what the Guardian Angel changes:
Improvised marking
- Glow stick: spent after one night, and hazardous waste
- Flashlight on the belt: only shines forward
- Reflective strips: invisible without an outside light source
- Battery flasher: dead when nobody remembered the batteries
With Guardian Angel
- 360° all-round light: tested visibility over 5 km
- Rechargeable: up to 150 h runtime, full again in 2 h
- IP68: withstands firefighting water, dust and drops
- On and off in seconds by magnet, even under the jacket
- SOS strobe mode and work light built in
How it works
Charge. Clip on. Be seen.
Three steps. That's all the Guardian Angel needs on the job. Tap through:
Charge
Fully charged via USB-C in 2 hours, and one charge lasts up to 150 hours in Low mode, enough for multi-day incidents. The R button shows you the charge level at any time on an easy-to-read LED display.
Clip on
Place the magnet clip on or under your turnout jacket: the neodymium magnet holds through the fabric and on almost any surface. Four integrated screw points secure mounts permanently.
Be seen
Four brightness levels, steady light and flash patterns in any combination, plus the white work LED for close range. In an emergency: hold the Guardian Angel button and the device switches to SOS strobe mode.
Color system
Your unit's color code
Colors make roles recognizable at a glance: teams, command, rescue dog teams. Your unit decides which color means what.
Dual color
Two light colors in one device: for more detailed identification systems.

Mounting system
One magnet. Any position.
From helmet to traffic cone: the same light goes wherever the incident needs it.
The idea
Neodymium magnet, built in
Every Guardian Angel holds magnetically on or under the turnout jacket, and attaches permanently to mounts with its four screw mounting points. For everything else, there is a matching mount.

Model choice
Elite or Micro?
Both share the magnet principle, 360° light and accessories. The Elite reaches farther and runs longer, while the Micro is the lightweight second option.

FAQs about the Guardian Angel
Answers for responders, equipment officers and procurement.
Didn't find your question?
We reply within 24 hours, including on procurement and tender questions.
How do I attach the Guardian Angel to my turnout gear?
With the included neodymium magnet clip, on or under clothing: the magnet holds through the fabric. Each light also has four integrated screw mounting points; for helmet, arm, vehicle, traffic cone and more, matching mounts are available as accessories.
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
Up to 150 hours in Low mode (Elite). It charges via USB-C and is full again after 2 hours. The R button shows you the remaining battery life on an LED display.
How do the Elite and Micro differ?
The Elite is the larger model: approx. 85 g, tested visibility over 5 km, up to 150 h runtime. At approx. 58 g, the Micro is the lightweight version: visible up to 3 km, up to 80 h runtime, charged in 60 minutes. Both are IP68: waterproof, dustproof, shockproof; the magnet principle, 360° light and accessory compatibility are the same.
Single or dual color: what's the difference?
The single-color series shines all around in one identification color. The dual-color series combines two light colors in one device, so roles and teams can be distinguished more finely. On both, steady light and flash patterns can be selected independently.
Can I use the Guardian Angel as a warning beacon on a vehicle?
No. The Guardian Angel has no type approval under the German StVZO (§§ 22a, 19), it has not been type-tested to ECE-R65/ECE-R10, and it does not meet DIN 14620. It is a marker and work light for people and equipment, not an emergency warning signal.
Can fire departments and public authorities purchase on account?
Yes. Municipalities, fire departments and emergency services units order from us on account, with XRechnung on request. Use the form on this page: we reply within 24 hours.
