Neutral Soap: fragrance-free hand wash lotion, skin-neutral pH

Neutral Soap is the mild hand wash lotion with a skin-neutral pH from DermaPurge, for light soiling and frequent hand washing. Fragrance- and dye-free, solvent- and silicone-free: it removes up to 99.9% of germs while protecting the natural acid mantle of your skin.

What Neutral Soap is made for

Neutral Soap cleans the skin after light soiling and everyday contact with germs, without putting unnecessary strain on the skin barrier. It is particularly suited to areas where fragrances are deliberately avoided: kitchens and food, medicine and care, cosmetics and close-contact services, as well as the station and workshop.

Important: not for hazardous chemicals

One safety-critical point: Do not use soap after contact with hazardous chemicals. Soap opens the skin barrier and increases uptake. In this case, use a soap-free product: for PAHs from fire smoke pak-ex, for powdery substances powder-ex. For combined hazards, use the soap-free product first, then Neutral Soap.

How to use

Rub about 2 to 3 ml of Neutral Soap thoroughly between your hands without water, continue washing with a little water, then rinse with plenty of water and dry your hands thoroughly. After cleansing, apply skin care or fresh skin protection.

Who is Neutral Soap suitable for?
For everyone who cleans their hands often and wants to be gentle on their skin: fire department and station, medicine and care, food and hospitality, cosmetics and close-contact services.

Can I use Neutral Soap instead of pak-ex after a fire call?
No. Carcinogenic PAHs on the skin call for pak-ex, because soap can even increase uptake. Neutral Soap is for light soiling and dealing with germs.

Does the employer have to provide hand cleansing products?
Yes. Under the German Workplace Ordinance (Arbeitsstättenverordnung), a product for hygienic body cleansing is part of the equipment of sanitary rooms and is provided free of charge.

Is Neutral Soap a hazardous substance?
No. It is not subject to the German Chemicals Act, transport regulations or the Hazardous Substances Ordinance. A safety data sheet can be requested.

How long does Neutral Soap keep?
Unopened, at least 30 months at 5 to 25 °C, 12 months after opening. Do not store above 25 °C or in direct sunlight.
