What you use it for
One adapter, three jobs
Wherever water is discharged from a fixed position over a longer period, without a team having to hold that position.
-
Holding line
Water discharge from a fixed position, for example to protect adjacent buildings or storage areas. The monitor holds the position. Your crews work elsewhere.
-
Tank and plant cooling
Continuous cooling at industrial and commercial fires, without permanently tying up personnel near the hazard zone.
-
Extended incidents
Hours of water discharge with no crew rotation on the nozzle, which takes the load off short-staffed units in particular.
The tactical difference
Monitor effect, no monitor budget
A portable monitor is a separate purchase and needs its own stowage space. The Universal Monitor uses what your fire department already has: the nozzle.
Without Universal Monitor
- Nachteil: A team holds the nozzle for hours, with relief crews on long incidents
- Nachteil: An additional portable monitor costs several thousand euros and a permanent stowage space
- Nachteil: Long cooling and protection operations tie up crews needed elsewhere
With Universal Monitor
- Vorteil: Your existing nozzle becomes a free-standing monitor
- Vorteil: 489 € instead of buying a new monitor, and hardly any space needed on the vehicle
- Vorteil: Set up, secure, couple up: the team is free for other tasks
The Universal Monitor does not replace a large monitor: it brings your nozzle’s output into position. The full price comparison is in the procurement calculation below.

A monitor for under 500 €

The two devices cover different performance classes: for large-monitor output at industrial and major incidents, the FN65 Monitor remains the right choice.
Ready for action in a few moves
Set up, couple up, water on
The Universal Monitor goes from its bracket into action without special tools: every pump operator and nozzle team knows the moves.
-
Set up
Set the light 3 kg base plate down in position, fold out the support struts and secure it with the four ground spikes.
-
Couple the nozzle
Couple your nozzle into the Storz mount. It stays unmodified and is free to use on its own again at any time.
-
Connect the hose
Couple the hose line as usual. You set the flow and spray pattern at the nozzle.
-
Water on
Set the elevation with the clamping lever, check the stream direction, start the water discharge. The monitor holds the position on its own.
Good to knowThe Universal Monitor does not modify your nozzle. After the operation, you uncouple it and use it with your team again.

FAQs about the Universal Monitor
Answers to the questions fire departments and plant fire departments ask us most often.
Direct line to us
We answer technical questions on compatibility, procurement and operational use, usually within 24 h.
Will the Universal Monitor fit our nozzle?
Yes, all nozzles with a matching coupling are compatible. The Universal Monitor is available for different Storz coupling sizes, and your nozzle stays unmodified.
How heavy is the Universal Monitor?
3 kg. With the carrying handle, you carry it in one hand from the vehicle to the incident scene.
What working pressure can the Universal Monitor handle?
The maximum working pressure depends on the nozzle you use.
How quickly is the Universal Monitor ready for action?
Set it up, secure it with the ground spikes, couple the nozzle, connect the hose line, set the elevation with the clamping lever, then water on. It only takes a few moves.
Does the Universal Monitor replace a portable monitor like the FN65 Monitor?
No, it covers the incidents in which your nozzle’s water output is enough: holding line, cooling and long water discharge from a fixed position. For large-monitor output, we carry the Rescuevation FN65 Monitor.
Can fire departments and public authorities purchase on account?
Yes. Purchase on account is available for municipalities, fire departments, plant fire departments, public authorities and companies. On request, you get a formal quote for your tender documents in advance, usually valid for 30 days.
How long does delivery take?
Usually around 5 to 10 workdays. We give you the exact delivery time in the quote.
Are there terms for joint orders?
Yes. For larger quantities, joint orders by several fire departments or procurement via the district, we prepare project-specific terms: just ask.
