How to charge safely
Once set up, the box is part of the charging area, like the charger.
The heat-resistant dividers are adjustable. Arrange the interior so that every battery has its place.
Small batteries each get their own compartment. Large batteries go in without a divider.
Run the charging cable out under the lid and close the buckle.
If a battery goes into thermal runaway, the box suppresses the flames, reduces smoke and gases and keeps the outside temperature under control.
The IFS advises: a smoke alarm belongs in the room where batteries charge, and someone should be able to respond to an alarm. With the box and a smoke alarm, your charging area is well set up.

Yes. Put the battery in the box, run the charging cable out under the lid and close the buckle. Then you charge as usual.
The L (21.5 × 16 × 14.5 cm, 950 g) is made for tool, drone and RC model batteries and passed the real fire test with three LiPo batteries of 45.8 Wh each. The XL (39.5 × 31.0 × 25.5 cm, 2,760 g) is made for e-bike batteries and passed the real fire test with a 740 Wh e-bike battery. The dimensions are external, and inside you arrange the box freely with the dividers.
The box contains it for a limited time: flames are suppressed, less smoke and less toxic gas escape, and the temperature outside the box stays under control. This gives you time to react and call the fire department.

No. After a fire, the box has done its job and is disposed of. Day to day, you use it again and again for charging, storing and transporting.
The walls consist of four layers: glass fiber fabric, a 4 mm insulating interlayer, a 3 mm mat and another layer of glass fiber fabric. The outside is silicone-coated and resistant up to 1,000 °C for short periods. Closures made of metal and plastic, carry handle made of nylon.
