Incident scene

What does your incident scene need?

Four tasks for which fire departments and civil protection units need a roll container. Each one with the model that solves it.

  1. Baselight light masts lighting up an incident scene at night

    01 · Light

Bring light to where the work is done

The Baselight Roll Container carries two Baselight light masts and two BMZ battery packs to the incident scene and still has room for two Euro boxes of equipment.

    • 2 Baselight light masts
    • 2 BMZ battery packs
    • Room for 2 Euro boxes
    • Optionally with off-road chassis
  2. Incident scene at night: crews between two vehicles, with a lit cabin set up between them

    02 · Hygiene

    Wash, change, toilet. No hookup.

The Hygiene Roll Container brings a hand washbasin, a changing cabin and up to two easyToilet SOS to the incident scene. It is self-sufficient and ready in about one minute.

    • Lavese hand washbasin with its own water tank
    • Changing cabin in every configuration
    • 0, 1 or 2 toilet cabins with single-use bag system
    • The only roll container with two mobile toilet cabins
  3. Roll container driving over the Explorer trolley ramp from the street onto the sidewalk

    03 · Ramps

Curb, stairs, loading edge: over it, not around it

Two ramp pairs for trolleys. The Explorer carries up to 985 kg and takes track widths up to 990 mm. The Vario consists of two separate rails and adapts to any track width.

    • Explorer: rough R12 surface, 1,985 mm long
    • Vario: 800 kg total load capacity, folds in the middle
    • Both with a side rail against slipping off
  4. Off-road Baselight Roll Container of the Oberhausen professional fire department in front of a yellow background

    04 · Custom build

Your container, built for your load

If none of the models fits, we build one that does. You see your roll container as a 3D model before we build it. Production only starts after your go-ahead.

    • Load, access and ergonomics planned together
    • 3D visualization before production
    • Built, for example, for the Oberhausen professional fire department

Construction

Six decisions you only notice years later

None of this shows on a product photo. You notice it in the second winter, on the third deployment off-road and with the first spare part.

  • 01

    Anodized surface

    Harder than any paint finish.

The anodized layer holds up even when the container is dragged over rubble and hosed down with a pressure washer.

  • 02

    Aluminum profiles

Profile construction instead of a welded frame.

Lighter, easier to repair and flexible enough to map any layout in a custom build.

  • 03

    Airless wheels

No flat tire, no pressure check.

Large wheels that need no air pressure. The large diameter keeps rolling resistance low even on unpaved ground.

  • 04

    Brake without Bowden cables

Drum brake with stainless steel linkage.

Bowden cables are where roll containers age first: the cables stretch, snap and corrode. That is why a stainless steel linkage does the work here.

  • 05

    Fixtures from the 3D printer

Even a one-off is made precisely.

We design and print our own tools and fixtures. That way, even a custom build is manufactured precisely, not just fitted together.

  • 06

    Individual testing

    Every container, before every delivery.

Assembly takes place in Germany. Every roll container is individually tested before it leaves our premises.

Custom build

No model fits? Then we build yours

If none of the ready-made models fits your load, we build one that does. After the first call, we give you a reliable ballpark figure before any design work is done.

  1. Step 1

    We listen

You describe what needs to go in and which vehicle the container goes on. We go through load, access, ergonomics and handling together.

  2. Step 2

You see it before we build it

Your container is created in CAD first. You get a 3D visualization and see what it will look like.

  3. Step 3

    Design review, then your go-ahead

We go through the visualization together and discuss the ergonomics concept. Building only starts after your approval.

  4. Step 4

    Assembly, testing, handover

Built to the AGBF safety requirements, assembled in Germany and individually tested before delivery.

FAQ

What is usually asked before procurement

Short answers to what fire departments and civil protection units want to know before ordering.

Any questions? We are ready. Give us a call: +49 1522 8790057

Can we order on account?

Yes. Fire departments, emergency services and public authorities can purchase on account, also via XRechnung on request. We prepare a quote with line items and delivery time for you on request.

Do the roll containers comply with the AGBF guideline?

We build to the AGBF guideline 07/2014 for roll containers. Custom builds are also carried out to the AGBF safety requirements.

What does the Baselight Roll Container carry?

Two Baselight light masts and two BMZ battery packs, plus room for two Euro boxes of equipment. You choose between the standard chassis and the off-road version with all-terrain wheels.

Does the Hygiene Roll Container need a water or power connection?

No. It is self-sufficient: no water connection, no power, no chemicals. The washbasin is supplied from the on-board water tank, and the toilet works with single-use bags.

Does the Hygiene Roll Container fit in our vehicle?

At 120 Ă— 80 cm, the footprint matches a Euro pallet, the height is 140 cm and the weight 112 kg with toilets. Whether that fits your vehicle, we work out together based on your load area.

Do we need a ramp as well?

That depends on your vehicle and the edge the container has to get over. The Explorer is the wide ramp pair with up to 985 kg load capacity and 990 mm track width, the Vario consists of two separate rails for any track width. Tell us your vehicle and loading edge, and we tell you which pair fits.

What does a custom build cost?

That depends on size, load and equipment. After the first call, we give you a reliable ballpark figure before any design work is done.

How long does delivery take?

We deliver the Hygiene Roll Container in about six weeks and the ramp pairs in about 30 working days. For the Baselight Roll Container and for custom builds, we state the date in the quote.

How much maintenance does a roll container need?

It is designed to be low-maintenance: airless wheels need no pressure check, and the drum brake works without Bowden cables. A stainless steel linkage does the job instead.

Roll containers for fire departments and civil protection

Roll containers bring equipment from the vehicle or roll-off container to the incident scene. For fire departments, the roll container guideline of the Working Group of Heads of Professional Fire Departments (AGBF) from 2014 applies. Rescuevation builds two catalogue models to it, the Baselight Roll Container for lighting and the Hygiene Roll Container for on-scene hygiene, and builds custom solutions for your load.

On top of that, there are two ramp pairs that let trolleys get over curbs, stairways and loading edges. The construction: anodized aluminum profiles, airless wheels and a brake without Bowden cables. Every container is assembled in Germany and individually tested.
