One system, three uses

At a vegetation fire, the Kamel® is a water buffer, and with the same connectors it becomes a decon station for personnel and vehicles.

Transfer point

How a buffer changes the water shuttle

At a vegetation fire, water tenders shuttle between the water source and the incident scene. Without a buffer, delivery is tied to the vehicles’ turnaround. With the Kamel®, the water stands ready at the transfer point.

Water at the transfer point

Built from sectional ladders your vehicles already carry.

*Calculation: A TLF 3000 carries 3,000 l of extinguishing water. 7,500 l ÷ 3,000 l = 2.5 tank loads.

Rescuevation Original

Your sectional ladders become a 7,500-liter tank

A Rescuevation innovation: in a few quick steps, the Kamel® turns standardized sectional ladders into a water buffer, and after the incident into a decon station.

  • Rescuevation Original
  • As seen in the trade press & on TV
  • DIN EN 1147 compatible

The difference

Folding tanks then, and the Kamel® now

Conventional folding tanks come with their own frame. The Kamel® uses what your vehicles already carry: sectional ladders to DIN EN 1147.

Conventional folding tank

  • Nachteil: Dedicated frame that serves only this one purpose
  • Nachteil: Permanently takes up stowage space on the vehicle
  • Nachteil: Hard to level on uneven ground

Kamel® from sectional ladders

  • Vorteil: Builds on sectional ladders your vehicle already carries
  • Vorteil: Fits folded into a standard Euro box
  • Vorteil: Height-adjustable supports level uneven terrain
  • Vorteil: Positive-locking metal connection instead of loose knots
  • Vorteil: The same connectors build a decon shower and a vehicle decon lane

Much more stable footing than comparable folding tanks, thanks to height leveling and a positive-locking connection.

Setup

From vehicle to tank

Four steps, around 3 minutes, with equipment your vehicles already carry.

  1. Join the sectional ladders

Connect up to eight sectional ladder sections as usual, for two tiers stacked on top of each other.

  2. Fit Kamel® connectors

The connectors engage the locking pins to DIN EN 1147 and join the ladders into a positive-locking frame.

  3. Level the supports

The height-adjustable supports compensate for uneven terrain, so the tank stands level.

  4. Fit the tarpaulin and fill

Lay in the tarpaulin, fill it: up to 7,500 liters stand ready at the transfer point.

One system, two jobsAfter the incident, the same Kamel® connectors build a decon shower or a vehicle decon lane: equipment that does double duty.

Water tank for rough terrain

Sloping ground, level tank

The height-adjustable supports are standard, not an accessory. They let the Kamel® compensate for uneven terrain and hold its volume where a conventional folding tank wobbles.

Modular design

All elements fit together

Every connector fits every other one. So you stack two tiers for more volume, and later build the decontamination shower from the same parts.

Spring catch and locking pin

Locked in, not knotted

The Kamel® engages the integrated locking pin of your sectional ladders to DIN EN 1147. The connection is positive-locking: nothing wobbles that could work loose under the water load.

Decision guide

Which configuration fits your fire department?

Two decisions: are 3,000 liters from one ladder tier enough, or do you need up to 7,500 liters with two tiers? And should the matching tarpaulin come along right away?

1 ladder tier

Compact starter, no tarp

  • 3,000 liter capacity
  • Kamel® connectors for one ladder tier
  • Height-adjustable supports, standard
Select configuration

1 ladder tier plus tarp

FAQ

Common Kamel® questions

Still have questions?

Call us or write to us: we reply within 24 hours.

How much water does the Kamel® hold?

One ladder tier holds 3,000 liters, two ladder tiers hold up to 7,500 liters. Ordering the tarpaulin as well makes no difference to the capacity.

How long does setup take?

Around 3 minutes, from the Euro box to the standing tank.

Do I need special ladders for the Kamel®?

No. The Kamel® uses the locking pins of fire department sectional ladders to DIN EN 1147: it builds on the ladders your vehicles already carry.

How do I transport the Kamel®?

In a standard Euro box measuring 60 × 40 × 50 cm, at a weight of 20 kg. That makes the Kamel® one of the easiest temporary water stores to stow.

Does the Kamel® stand securely on rough terrain too?

Yes. The height-adjustable supports compensate for uneven terrain, and the sectional ladder sections are coupled by positive-locking metal connectors: nothing depends on loose knots.

Can I use the Kamel® for decontamination?

Yes. The same connectors build a decon shower with retention basin for responders, or a cleaning lane for vehicles, for example in animal disease outbreaks or chemical incidents.

Can you purchase on account?

Yes, for public authorities, municipalities and fire departments, with XRechnung on request.

What is the delivery time?

We tell you the delivery time on request: we reply within 24 hours.
