The Ultimo sits on the helmet with its own mounts. At the front it lights up your work, at the back the red rear light makes you visible.

How long do the batteries last?
The white light runs between 3 h 30 min (1,000 lm) and 148 h (12 lm). The rear light lasts 195 h as a steady light and 300 h flashing. The two 18650 batteries with a combined 5,200 mAh charge via USB-C in 4 h 30 min.
How does the Ultimo X1000 differ from the Black Eye H40?
The Black Eye H40 reaches up to 4,000 lm in Boost with Spot and Flood, shines up to 245 m and has a red light at the front. It also comes with a headband and a 21700 battery. The Ultimo comes with helmet mounts for the front and rear, a red rear light, stepless dimming from 12 to 1,000 lm and two 18650 batteries.
What is the red rear light for?
It makes you visible from behind, for example when working on the road, in halls with forklift traffic or on the move with your crew. You switch it to steady or flashing light.
What is the diffuser for?
The diffuser scatters the light wide and evenly. For close-range work, for example on machines or when reading plans, this causes less glare than a focused beam.
