It sits on the battery pack at the back of your head and makes you visible to others walking or driving behind you, for example at the roadside or in a search line. The rear light shines steadily (up to 130 h) or flashes (up to 365 h).
How does the Camo II differ from the Maverick?
The Maverick shines up to 170 m with up to 595 lm, has a motion sensor and runs on the included Li-Po battery or 3 × AAA. The Camo II delivers 490 lm and 150 m, plus the red rear light on the battery pack, and runs on three AA batteries, which are included.
Which batteries does the Camo II need?
Three AA batteries, which are included. Replacements are readily available. This is how long the front light runs:
- High, 490 lm: 4 h
- Medium, 200 lm: 17 h
- Low, 30 lm: 64 h
What do I need the focus for?
With the focus you set the beam from Spot to Flood. Focused, the light reaches up to 150 m, for example for search in open terrain. With a wide setting you light up the area directly in front of you, for example when working on equipment or a vehicle.
Can I wear the Camo II on a helmet?
The Camo II comes with a headband, lamp head at the front and battery pack at the back. For helmet use there is the Ultimo X1000. The Ultimo comes with a helmet mount for the front and back and also has a red rear light.
